HSB Turning Torso in exhibition on “The Met” in New York
On October 18th, an exceptional exhibition opens at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. A model of HSB Turning Torso as well as its original, the sculpture “Twisting Torso”, will be on display. The production will showcase that many of Santiago
Calatrava’s famous and celebrated buildings originated in his independent works of art.

Grand opening of HSB Turning Torso
The grand opening of HSB Turning Torso took place on the 27th of August. A spectacular event celebrated the completion of the building and the fact that Malmoe now has a new landmark. The building’s world famous architect, Santiago Calatrava, visited Malmoe to partake in the celebrations.

Calatrava praises HSB Turning Torso’s new conference
concept.
The famous architect presented the upcoming meeting forum sporting the highest location in Scandinavia, 179 metres above sea level, at a press conference last week. Companies and organizations have already shown great interest in the spectacular

Marketing Director Pia Sandin at HSB Turning Torso finishes her employment. The new media contact will be Anja Trägårdh.
Marketing Director Pia Sandin ends her 2 ½ year long project employment next week on the 31st August. On the 1st October she starts her new position as Managing Director at Malmö City
Samverkan (Malmö City Corporation).

The Turning Torso is very pleased to welcome a film crew from the highly esteemed TV channel Discovery Channel next February. Discovery Channel has decided to devote a whole episode in the series Extreme Engineering to the unique building the Turning Torso and the people behind the project. The building in the Swedish city of Malmö is remarkable, both from an architectural and technical point of view, as the world is about to find out.

Sparkling celebration in the Western Harbour
Turning Torso - now the tallest residential building in the south of Sweden. Turning Torso has now reached the 27th floor and is thus the tallest residential building in the south of Sweden. 27 floors also means that the construction is halfway to its final height of 54 floors in total. This will be celebrated on 7th December when Turning Torso is inviting everyone to a public event.
